Capcom officially announces the first details for Dino Crisis 3

While the Tokyo Game Show is still months away, Capcom's already breaking the ice with the announcement of <b>Dino Crisis 3</b> for the Xbox platform. Developed by the <i>Resident Evil</i> mastermind, Shinji Mikami, <i>Dino Crisis 3</i> takes the intense, dino huntin' experience into the depths of space.

The next installment puts you amongst a team of intergalactic Marines discovers a Colony Spaceship infested with cold-blooded beasts. Fighting a constant battle for survival, the team must fight together to survive the ensuing chaos.

Equipped with jet propulsion packs, the main characters can maneuver quickly through the environment. This new type of control is a break from anything ever seen and will offer players new challenges and more freedom of movement. Visually, Capcom has focused its attention on achieving a sense of scale and solidifying the craft's detail.

Well, They finally decided to reveal it. After so long time of silence, I started to think that the DC3 got scraped all together.

Hmm, Dinos in Space. And flying with jet pack, it sounds very like Gun Valkirie, and those screens that Capcom released earlier this week, pretty much prove it.

So if Capcom copying Sega, I hope they will get controls right, so they will be more user friendly.

Oh please.....I mean, I've never been a huge fan of Dino Crisis, but come on - dinosaurs in space??

And there is nothing wrong with GV's controls. I hope DC3 controls as well as GV......

Does every horror series have to end up in space?

There's nowhere to go after you do a space movie/game so I guess this is the final Dino Crisis game. Not unless Capcom decides to make Gun Hazard: Dino Crisis in Parallel Universe through a Quasar Nebula.

You know, there is already is a Dino Crisis related gun game, its Dino Stalker for PS2 :) And it looks mighty fine at that.

As for VG controls, yes they arent that bad, but little bit too complicated, and would be definately something unusual for regular Capcom set up. Since both prior DC games used RE set up.

Heh...well, that Jason movie totally sucked. That is all.

Why not, I mean look at where these other Capcom titles...

Dante in New York... ok maybe it isn't NY but it has lots of sky scrapers that would make King Kong happy :)

Resident Evil goes on a train ride... next stop space or maybe the Love Boat :lol:
