You've been trying to unload guys like Jones, Pena, Rolen, and Drew on me in exchange for Matsui for weeks now. That trade I offered was far more helpful to both of us than your offer (Jeter, Drew, and Kinsler for Beltran, Todd Jones, and Aaron Hill). I saw that you coveted Matsui and needed pitching help, I could use a shortstop upgrade and I'm partial to Jeter, so I packaged Matsui with my best starter for him.

Drew is worse than what's available on waivers, and while Jeter and Kinsler are upgrades for me you're asking for the best outfielder in the game and a top closer. I'm willing to part with my impact players but I need big upgrades in return.

Spo, to put it simply, you're dumb.

Jeter is much much more valuable than any outfielder due to the position. There are what, 5-8 good shortstops, and 40-60 good outfielders?

The difference between Beltran and Andrew Jones is much much less than Jeter and Bobby Crosby.

40-60 5-stat outfielders that put up a .982 OPS last year with 41 homers? He's the most valuable outfielder in fantasy baseball and you're calling me dumb for not replacing him with J.D. Drew or Andrew Jones? There are a lot more than 5-8 good players with shortstop eligibility (and I've already got one that's on pace for 100 runs, 100 RBI's and 25 homers). I'm not sure what Bobby Crosby has to do with anything since he's not on my team. Keep your trash and let me know when you want to make a straightforward deal for Jeter.

However, look at him over the last couple weeks, 4hrs .300 ba, he's on the way back.

Then I would suggest you hold on to him because you're unlikely to get full value for him yet.
