Russell Martin hit a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the 10th inning tonight, and the Dodgers improved their record to 13-5. This was a good win, because the Dodgers basically gave the game away in the early innings until they finally came back and tied it in the bottom of the 9th.
Martin's grand slam should help out my fantasy team a little too :)
Oliver Perez was fucking laser guided today. Too bad he sucks, because Biff "played the game."

Mets looked like shit against the Braves so far in this young season with the Braves winning 4 out of the 6 games played. Today the Mets finally get to John Smoltz and then in the 6th inning Shawn Green misplays a ball that would have ended the inning but instead gave way to a 3 run homer by Renteria. Renteria hit that homer off of Shit Schoeneweis who is a pile of crap. Why did Minaya give this bum a three year deal?? HE STINKS. Then Aaron Bileman with his tender elbow gives up a 3 run homer to Kelly Johnson after Valentin misplays a ball on a bad hop.
David Wright has been pretty bad so far with just 4 rbi and showing little power. Some says what happened with Bobby Abreu (power outage after the HR derby) is now happening with David which is bullshit. Teams have adjusted to Wright and now David in turn must adjust or else he's dead meat. Jose Reyes was the same way and now he doesn't flail away at pitches he used to last year. David Wright is also wearing some hideous new cleats.
Carlos Delgado hasn't done shit either but he's a pro and I know he'll turn it around.
I shouldn't really complain since the Mets are 11 - 6 but today's loss annoys me big time.
In other news today is the first time Matsuzaka pitches against the Yanks and it should be a treat to watch. I'm sure Fenway will be rockin...unless Dice-K stinks up the joint.
