Maine is really blowing away what I thought were fairly optimistic expectations. The biggest difference this year has been that he has learned to pitch out of jams.

I think he's got to be an early favorite for Cy Young. Maine certainly can't keep pitching this well, but he's also going to get a ton of wins (worthless stat that it is, Cy voters always care about it) with the Mets behind him.Quote:
