Is New Vegas really worth it? During the shitstorm of how buggy it was on release, I don't know which versions were patched (I'm guessing all of them) and if it was significant enough for me to bother trying it now (if it's playable). Is it?

Totally playable now and the mods that are out there are incredible. You can make the game look better than any other game on the market, even Crysis 2 before the DX11 patch, if you have a beastly machine.
I've done two over 100 hour play throughs with different characters and I STILL might get it today just because I don't own it on Steam and the DLC is the price it should be.
Hi, Opaque! It working fine is the extent of all I needed to know, but hearing the rest of that is great to hear. I don't have a good PC at home (just a shitty laptop that performs admirably at Word/music/emulation/VLC usage, but I'm getting a beast PC by the end of the year, so hooray!
