I never noticed running through trees/poles.
I dunno. The beginning of Serious Sam 3 is worse than the rest of the game, but I don't think it sucked or anything. At least, the part where the kamikaze dudes ran over the hill of rubble and the fight in the block immediately after was pretty fun. And then the museum was a dip. And then the game got on track.

I'm at 17 as well. For some reason I really enjoyed this promotion, even if I didn't get much more than coupons and lucked into a copy of Dirt 3 from it. Something about sampling all those games, a bit here and a bit there, was really satisfying. Some I'll never touch again and others I'd like to get back to, but overall this really satisfied either a deep-rooted need for variety, or an incredibly short attention span. Or maybe both.
