This might be bullshit logic, but I accept this ONLY because Steam got here first. It's the kind of thing I don't mind from up to ONE service, and since I had to get it to play Half Life 2, and I now have a huge library of games tied to it, Steam gets to be that one.

I'm not going to have 3 or 4 Steam-likes running on my system. I'm just not. So sorry, Notsteam, you lose. GOG or pre-Gamefly Direct2Drive (RIP) or whatever where I don't need a program is fine. But I'm not running Origin or Uplay because Steam has my one and only pass I give to that bullshit.

If Atari was still unquestionably the best, which Steam is, I might feel that way as well.

Origin is completely fucked for me. It tried installing an update and died in the middle, so it won't start. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and even though I tell it do not update, it still tries to update and crashes. So fuck Origin.

I don't feel bad for anyone using Origin.
