Anyone here game on a 120hz monitor? I decided that when I build my new pc during the summer that I will get a dedicated pc monitor (rather than use my current hdtv) and I've read about 120hz monitors and how they are better for your eyes and can make a difference in gaming. Plus you can use that 3D stuff if you felt like it. I've looked at this BenQ model and this 144hz Asus monitor. Just looking at some options as I'd like to get a monitor next month (gotta get a damn table too!).

I have a fairly old Viewsonic 120 Hz monitor. I want to say I got it in late 2010 maybe. To be honest, other than the 3D capability and the fact that it's a bit bigger, I've never noticed a significant difference over my older LCD monitor. Now, maybe if I played on a TV, I would have noticed more difference.

In my livingroom. I've only had my gaming PCs hooked up to it a few times over the past couple of years. I plan to eventually put back together my C2Q setup for the livingroom though.

The 60hz 24" LCD on my desktop works just fine, but if you're going to spend the money on a new monitor for a desktop, you might as well spend a little extra for 120hz.

I'm pretty sure that none of the TVs advertised to be 120hz are actually 120hz. The 120hz thing is just a code word for that motionflow frame interpolation bullshit. True 120hz computer monitors exist, of course.
