Stop being an electronic thief.
Stop posting here when you are drunk
I thought it was the pair of pants I was wearing but they
had no tags on them, and they were paid for.
If you're not black it doesn't really matter, does it?
This happens to me all the time. CDs, games, software, dvds, books, anything that may have been tagged might not have been properly demagnetized.
Christmas was ridiculous, people at stores didn't even blink when the alarm went off, it was just like yeah whatever. I had a CD demagnetized at 3 different stores, it didn't stop setting off alarms until the 3rd one.
Lots of things can set them off. Many manufacturers put them in all their items, and not all stores use them so often products are sold without being demagnatized. At work, we have this problem often with shoes and purses having an EAS tag in them.
Also, magnetic fields and electronic devices can set them off. The biggest offenders seem to be magnetic name badges and cell phones.
Would a magnetic personality set it off? Nah I figured it
must be something on me, yet it never has been a problem
before. Still I don't want to have to have a clerk come
running after me asking to check my bags when I buy some
pasta.
I can certainly appreciate the annoyance factor. After the third time you set an alarm off it really starts making you want to punch someone in the face.
My calculator always sets off my library's alarm for some reason. Doesn't happen in shops though.
Maybe a phone or something?
This just proves that Asians are really robots. You should change your name to Cylon.

Korian was always a bitch.
I may not like asian women, but I'd hit that.
But this Cylon is better.

I steal all the time.
If you were really interested in stealing, just watch what businesses check people whose product goes off and those that don't.
Best Buy is REALLY bad at this.
Those things don't REALLY detect those magnetic tags. There's always some guy with a button on certain counters.
Its an excuse to check certain people, the alarm just gives the guise of just cause.
Horseshit. Those things really do detect the magnetic tags.
You made a trip to the store for the sole purpose of buying a single box of Macaroni and Cheese (Kraft dinner for Canadians)? That is fucking great.
It is horseshit. No manager is going to condone a racial discrimination button under the counter, or trust moron employees not to use it like wildfire. It's all automated. You can use aluminum to prevent it from recognizing things in your backpack. That's how the pro's steal.
I always forgot about that. Ahhh working for shit and not caring.
AMERICA FUCK YEAH!
