Achievement Points

I am proud of myself for ending the vicious cycle last night. I had gotten Ninety Nine Nights purely for its achievements from Blockbuster. I never took it out of its case. Last night, I went back to the store and traded it for Red Steel. Red Steel may suck, but I want to see it first-hand, and I am not doing it for any kind of score. The best part is that if it does suck, I won't force myself through it either. My name is Yoshi, and I am a recovering achievement addict.

Good man. N3 is nigh-unplayable garbage; as a fan of both the Koei "Warriors" gameplay style and Tetsuya Mizuguchi, I found it to be one of the most heartbreaking disappointments in years. Ironically enough, it was actually one of the games that got me wanting a 360 in the first place. Silver lining: thanks to a buddy's employee discount, I was able to trade it in for Dead Rising at no additional cost. =D

I'd rather take that time that I lost for the blip and apply it to having sex with my girlfriend. I'd rather unlock THAT achievement. ;)

As long as it's not some insane Smash TV-like challenge, then IBTN.
