Some of the game-specific boards can be perfect when you want to talk more in depth about games, especially obscure-ish ones. I like TNL, but sometimes it feels like so many people don't even really play that many games, or at least aren't interested in really talking about them in much depth. And yes, some of it is an issue with so many of the TNL crowd trying so hard to be too cool for school, but I think it's probably more due to gamefaqs just having such a larger userbase.Quote:

It really isn't bad for the more obscure titles. It's just a shame the actual message board sucks, but eh. I've been a member of GameFAQs for almost 7 years now. :(
Gamefaqs used to be much better until more and more of the gamespot domination kicked in. Now it's pretty much useless though, unless a game is truly obscure, and then you're lucky to find any posts at all.
