Just remember we're fast-approaching April, guys.
Yeah, Blockbuster loves to put games in their database mid-March as an April Fools joke.
The world does not need another katamari game.
Kojima and Mikami on your hit list too? Come on, he didn't even want to make the second one, but Namco is where he works, and Namco is going to squeeze this franchise dry, whether he likes it or not. He probably won't have any involvement in this one anyway, like he didn't have anything to do with the PSP version. Even Will Wright doesn't have the kind of power that will protect his creation from the greed of the company that produced it.
Yeah, I was going to bring that up, but got too lazy. Namco's to blame, not this guy. And I don't understand their mentality in this regard either. Anyone can churn out endless Katamari sequels now that the formula is set. Why wouldn't they utilize this guy's exceptional creativity to try to strike gold again with another new IP?
I think he is making at least one more new game. And yeah, there's no reason to be down on the guy for having some integrity. I like him making games, but look:

Takahashi even treated us to some pictures of some sculptures that he created in college. Bizarre creations like a goat shaped flower pot that urinated when you watered the plants, an unnecessarily large tissue holder shaped like a hippo, and a full-sized coffee table that you could transform into a robot gave a very telling look into the mind of the man who would go on to create a game where a tiny space prince rolls a ball around the earth picking up everything and everyone in sight.
This guy is spreading joy throughout the world. Don't hate this guy Master.Quote:

I'll get it, but I agree we don't need #4. The PSP Katamari failed to suck me in and I wasn't even bothered by the controls that much.
