Virtua Tennis 3

Six years after the disappointment of the canned online mode that was promised in Tennis 2K2, Sega's AM2 team has a chance to atone for one of the company's many recent follies by finally adding a competent online component to one of the best pong-spawns to date.

The demo is up on Live, it doesn't really feel like tennis.

I really like it. It's way more fun than Topspin 2.

See, I disagree. I would agree that Topspin is more realistic, but I would rather play Virtua Tennis. I like the arcadey gameplay of Virtua Tennis better.

Get a 360 you mook.

Can't wait. Friends & I have gotten together every couple weeks for 2K2 since its DC release; best 4-player game ever, I say. This would be one of the few Day 1 $60 purchases for me, so the fact it's $50 makes it all the sweeter.

All signs point towards an improved 2K2 - the reviews knocking it for being too similar to the last game need to stfu. The gameplay is perfect. Why should it change?

People who say there's too much diving are trying to it like Top Spin - not a criticism on my part, it's just that the timing is different and takes getting used to.

VT3 won't be as huge a disappointment as Burnout Dominator, that's for sure.

I've never played Top Spin, the diving is just ridiculous.
