I agree, you have to drink it fast because the heat goes quickly. It's so good though you can't really avoid drinking it fast. Josh, I recommend you get one that comes fully apart for ease of cleaning because you will need to clean that fucker after every use so it don't get nasty and ruin future pressings.

Buy the cheapest french press you can find. Don't worry about buying an insulated one. If you are somebody who likes to enjoy their coffee over a longer period of time invest in a dedicated thermos. Make the coffee in the press then pour immediately into the thermos. Personally, I only make 2 cups at a time, so I'm not concerned with keeping it warm.
Drinking french press coffee RIGHT NOW. Green coffee beans, roasted at home in the oven. (DO. THIS. Light roasting your own coffee = God Tier. Buy those beans on the internet, son.)
There's a teeny tiny bit of silt at the bottom of the cup; I attribute this to not shaking off the chaff after roasting the beans. Nice thick grind = half the grounds aren't swimming around in my cup after pressing.
Grind coffee, put in french press (Bodum. Bought at a coffee shop. $20? a year ago? I get 2 1/2 cups out of it), pour in water, STIR, throw the lid on, wait three minutes, press down, pull back up and press down again if you're feelin' saucy, pour immediately.
