Fuck no, endurance/career records don't count as the most hallowed. Baseball's most hallowed record was set in 1927 and hasn't been broken.

But Joe DiMaggio was only 13 in 1927...
(what the fuck other record happened in 1927 other than Walter Johnson's 110 shutouts?)
If nothing else, at least in 7-8 years when Arod breaks Bonds' record, I can tell people I saw Arod hit 500 on the same day Bonds hit 755.
It's funny how both A-Rod and Bonds hit huge milestones on the same day and out of everyone in baseball A-Rod is the most likely to break the record that Bonds tied today.
The mlb.com highlights on Bonds 755 fucking sucked too.
From what I saw on TV there were lots of fans holding up asterisk signs and booing. They weren't all doing that though, which means not enough were doing that.
Gagne's given up a run in both of his Boston appearances; I still think that was a bad move. I was terrified when I heard the Yankees might be getting him (he's a washed up ex-juicer that can't stay healthy). Kason Gabbard was more valuable.
Washed up?
Only in SpoDaddy's mind is someone with a K/BB rate of just under 3, a WHIP of 1.1, and a ERA+ of 181 washed up.Code:Year Ag Tm Lg W L G GS CG SHO GF SV IP H R ER HR BB SO HBP WP BFP IBB BK ERA *lgERA *ERA+ WHIP

Ex-steroid user? WTF? I guess if you believe that everyone in MLB used illegal PEDs...
Can't stay healthy? Well, can't really question this. However, he has been healthy all year, and the Red Sox only need him to hold up for two more months.
:lol:Quote:
Kason Gabbard was more valuable.
At the beginning of the season Kason Gabbard had no value whatsoever. Great for him that he stepped in when Schilling got injured and did a decent job pitching, giving him a chance to succeed in the long term and giving the Red Sox enough value out of him to get a rental of an elite closer.
hi guys
i'm sure most of you have now heard about barry bonds tying hank aaron's home run record, but what a lot of you might not know is that he might of used steroids to accomplish this task!! i know this is hard to believe but try to step back and look at the situation clearly and you will clearly see all the evidence is there and it makes me sad because it sends the wrong messages to kids across the united states that we should worship this guy but this guy cheated and then its just a reflection of the world in general where everyone does anything they can to get ahead and then you got to wonder who else is juicing and then when people do stuff legitly there's always going to be a cloud over their head because stuff like hgh is so hard to find and everyone will assume they juiced to get their home runs even if they didn't and then he will deny it but everyone will still think they did it and it will make him sad maybe even sad enough to commit suicide because he worked his entire life for something and because of people like barry bonds he can't enjoy it because everyone thinks everyone who is good does steroids espically if they're black maybe not so much so if they're white because mcgwire kind of slipped under the radar because he's white but not sosa and bonds
I don't believe you, sir. I think you are lying.
If you were to say this to someone, I imagine you doing it without breathing at any point. But I still don't believe you.Quote:

periods, mother fucker, use them.
And whatchyu talkin' about? Bonds didn't do drugs!
Sorry, I didn't think anyone honestly considering the record to be 60 instead of its present 61. Maris had 7 extra games. Big fucking deal.
