"PHILADELPHIA CENTER FIELDER AARON ROWAND LEFT THE GAME AFTER ONE INNING DUE TO BLURRED VISION IN HIS RIGHT EYE."
...that doesn't sound very serious.
I keep watching and I can't stop wondering how the hell the Indians are in first.
They can't hit and their defense is atrocious.
And the Mets fall back to 6th best record in baseball, tied with the Yankees.
The difference?
The Mets play in a pussy division and therefore are only a half game back from best record in the NL. The Yankees play in a real division and wouldn't make the playoffs today.

Boston's megaton new bullpen weapon we've been hearing so much hype about just gave up four runs in the eighth to squander a 5-1 lead. This is why I was terrified the Yankees would give up Kennedy or Cabrera to get him. His stats now with Boston: 3.1 IP, 6 ER for a 16.20 ERA and a WHIP approaching 4. Bobby Jenks has tied the AL record by retiring 38 straight hitters. Pretty awesome.
Pretty damn impressive considering he only faces 3 at a time.
Indeed. He can't get in a groove like a starter can.
Oh wait, were you being sarcastic? ;)
Also, wow @ Ankiel. No matter what he does from now on, what he's done is quite inspiring.

Adam Eaton has to be the worst starting pitcher in baseball
