JD Drew says hello. The thing is, the Red Sox really couldn't trade for a bat. Their two least productive starters at the time, Lugo and Drew, both just started their multi-year deals. The only viable trade option was Crisp, who is in the last year of his deal, and had really hit his stride around the deadline. Given Crisp's unmatched outfield performance this year, I'm glad they're keeping him for at least the rest of this year.Quote:
