Hellgate London

It's been a week or something since I played this. COD4 took the spotlight for me. Plus I purchased Rock Band, so thats getting some playing. I should try to make some time for this later today.

God dammit! Looks like there is still server disconnects and at the wrong time too. I was on a new stage and its like a confusing maze. I think I was well on my way at the end of it and BAM "server error". YAY now I gotta go thru that allllllll oveeeeeer again. Also they still need to fix the enemy respawning when you leave, /stuck or randomly glitch. It don't piss me off as much anymore since I got an ability that allows me to cast a lighting cloud than rains down bolts on anyone in my area....but its still annoying.

Quick question: i have 2 pieces of the same armour, one has 80 armour, the other has 40 armour and 40 shield. Which is better?

I might be wrong but armour is what takes the dammage when you get hit. Shield is kinda like a magic barrier that surrounds you and has its own hit points also. After it takes so much dammage you start taking hits. So it just depends on what you want, super beefed up armour or armour and some shield defense. The shields go back up after you rest a bit and make you able to shrug off a few hits, spells and other random things creatures can do to you.

Fixed more chat window issues and FINALLY the invisible party member bug is fixed YAY! Also fixed some equipment bug on engineer and they say they are still working on that one some more. Fixed a memory leak for people that buy, sell analyze equipment alot (me me me). Fixed a bug that randomly warped people.

Good to see they are fixing some of my problems pretty quickly. They are working on the memory leak problem even more. Patch .7 is supposed to have some new surprises for subscribbers.

Good patches. I'm still not going on tonight, but I'll try to be on a lot more.

So my bro just picked this up. Is it good? I recommended it and didn't want to steer him wrong.

Also, how worth it is the upgrade?

Wow I didn't have him check his system specs, but a game that was running oblivion on all the highest settings is now chugging on this.

Well, a few things, my brother had a whole lot of dumb shit running in the background that I nixed. That combined with sticking all the settings on low gets the game running smoothly, but I guess we'll have to experiment with the in-betweens. Why this game doesn't auto-detect is beyond me.

He hasn't patched anything yet, do the patches affect how the game runs at all, or just gameplay shit?

I forgot how much I hate pc gaming.
