I'm off the rest of the weekend so I should be running around and checking stuff out. I think I'll stick with my rtificial evoker character for a bit and do some lvling up. I may make and try out that defensive character class(forgot the name) and see how it is.

My evoker is level 8 now, I got some rad gas grenade launcher, does retarded damage, but isn't a force weapon :(
Evoker is fun as hell. I'm playing John Woo style, a gun in one hand and my cabalist weapon on my other arm. Its also fun just tossing that electric blast into a room and hearing em all die. I just hit lvl 4 and I'm already getting used to the game.
I didn't see it update the game, so I don't know if it installed patch 0 or not. This should be really fun once the TNL clan gets going. Guess I'll go pre-order this tomorrow.

Yea thats what I was thinking too. Who else is gonna subscribe? I think the subscribers should be the major ones to run the clan since they are gonna put more into it. I doubt I'll be subscribbing since I don't have that much time on my hands for an MMO much less games in general. But I do plan on playing this a good bit.
I'm about to try and log onto the beta server. Also some of the side quest NPC's and town folk say some of the most hilarous stuff.
If I ever get a chance to play the demo I may be subscribing, unfortunately I can't afford to spend $200 for the founder's thing (game and founder's).
I will give it a play for a month to see if I will like it enough to stick around. I am sure I will get addicted, but will try to not repeat my wow thing lol

Well looks like the server is down again. I kept getting errors and I guess they finally shut it down to work on it.

Yeah, I was getting SUPER annoyed. I've been trying to make the trek to Charring Cross only to get to the Approach and 4 times, YES 4 times have the server go out.
Server maintenance was announced for today. Don't expect to get much playing time in until this evening.
They might as well just pull the beta. The servers haven't been up for 10+ hours consecutively since Thursday.

Well, the character wipe is on the 26th so I know the beta won't extend past that.
I'm gonna miss launch since I'll be in the Bahamas, but I think I'll be able to deal.
The last server error for me happened like a horror movie. I was doing a mission in the lower sewers when some skeleton popped out from around the corner. I reacted by firing and backing up and BAM server error heh. Kinda sucks I some how managed to find a semi rare weapon already too.
I'll probably stop by gamestop/eb tomorrow and pre-order it since I like their color kit the best. I just need to figure out how I can keep my beta account I got started already, cause I like the names I got.

I wonder how many servers there will be. Guess we'll have to decide on a server and then have the subscribers setup the clan and stuff.
I'm also still kinda tweeking my graphic settings for the best picture/frame rate. Whats some of the settings I should turn down first that really add lag and some I can put a bit higher without lag?

Yea hI think I may be buying this. My Marks is level 5, I can order a napalm strike followed by a shot from m yrocket launcher to kill large groups of enemy. It's beastly.
I seen some guy at lvl 21 awhile ago. I'm lvl 7 bout to hit 8 and enjoying all the new spells I get. So far I'm taking some of the bigger guys down with ease thanks to my bone spear or just popping em with electric charges from a distance. I love how rare monsters or wanted monsters will blow up into huge piles of loot. It took me by surprise the first time.
I even think I got my settings tweeked to my liking also.

Well, maybe not at first, but not everyone will be able to get the game on launch day for various reasons. This way, if you're in the Beta and are still waiting for your game to arrive, you'll still be able to play Hellgate. Also, the characters you create during this time will transfer over into your retail account. Once this happens, any caps/restrictions will be lifted. Yay! The characters will still have the Beta caps on them (such as level caps and such), but you can at least get started with your characters.
Hmm, what else. Oh yeah. You might see a new server environment pop up. This is mostly for testing the Patch 0 features internally, though some of you might be able to see it. There's no guarantee you'll see it, but if you do, at least you'll know what's going on. Also, this is important: if you do see it and get access to it, any characters used on this server will be duplicates, so any changes that occur to your character will not be reflected on the "normal" servers, and vice versa.
Lastly, we'll be starting a European Beta sometime soon. This will be short and to the point, mainly as a last check on our servers. We'll be sending out invites to a select group of Europeans. If this includes you, please, try it out. Though the game will be the same as the current US Beta, one, we need you all to help us ensure the Euro servers are perfect, and two, you can get your European account name before everyone else. Worth it, right? ^_^

Well if for some reason you don't get your copy of the game on launch, least you're not sitting there stewing while others get to play. Beta cap is like lvl 21 I believe and I don't think you'll be able to get that high by the time you get your copy and release the beta cap.
I'm about to hit lvl 10 and look like wolverine got possesed by soul calibur. Least now I know what skills I wanna lvl up when I get reset.
p.s, that one side mission where you have to use a tranquilzer gun on this one enemy is giving me shit fits. I'm gonna have to try another strategy for this one.

Agreed, I'm probably going to go ahead and refrain from playing this anymore until the server's come back up. Also I've only grouped with Chux so I haven't been able to notice if it goes Diablo II style and every player in the party makes the zone harder/gives more XP. What is fucking awesome though is you're the only one who sees your loot. So Chux sees different loot than I see, so we don't have to fight over loot.
So I'd be curious if we all grouped up like from level 1 if the enemies would be tough as balls and if we'd be getting a shitton of Xp from every enemy.
Thats pretty neat about loot, I was wondering about that myself. Yea I was debating on quitting playing. I wanna hit lvl 10 and finish up this last side mission on the second station. After that I'll probably quit and see if I can find Zack and Wiki and play that till release. I had some decent weapons to give away in my locker too.
