Color Me Confused

Okay...

So, I go out with this chick tonight who's very VERY cute and hang out with her for about four hours at a local bar near her neighborhood. We have excellent conversations, very little down time and enjoy each others company. In the interim, while we're talking, one chick mouths to me "You're hot" and she (the chick that I'm with) sees it. Another girl does something similar and I'm still totally into the girl that I'm with.

At the end of the night. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Other than an "I had a good time tonight, etc...". Did the "you're hot" thing negatively affect me? I'm confused - I've been working on this girl for months and finally got it to this point and I have to wonder if she's intimidated by the outside forces.

Yeah, sure, there's an age difference - but that doesn't matter much these days.

I think that if the girl you're digging noticed the "You're hot"-girls and also noticed that you didn't pay any mind to them, you probably have a PLUS in her book. But, the whole outside forces thing...you don't know what has happened to her in the past. Maybe she's playing it safe?

Well, the only way to know for sure is to cut out all of the beating-around-the-bush bullshit and ask her straight up what the situation is. There's no way to tell. Girls don't make any kind of logical sense that men can figure out.

But to me it just sounds like she didn't feel like doing anything after the date and nothing more. But you'll know if she calls you back or not. How many dates have you been on in total (I know you said you were "working" on her but that could mean talking her up for a date or something)? It's been my experience that when you're dating a girl other girls will pay more attention to you for some reason. I guess it's a competitive bitch thing.

It could be, I'd ask her out again. I think after seeing that other girl mouth "you're hot" she may be playing it cool to wait and see if you'll stick with her, or if you're an opportunist who'll ditch her for the next girl that shows interest in you.

It's like this: she works for a supplier of mine and is specifically verboten to date/go out/hang out with any of the accounts that she does business with. I hung out with a guy (no gay jokes, plz) who also works for the same company and she gave him shit for it because she knew that he wasn't supposed to do it. So, I've dropped subtle hints over a period of time without specifically asking her to do anything. I would think the fact that she did hang out with me despite this, um, "edict" would point to something positive after I asked her to meet me for the first time. She could've just completely blown it off and said she was busy or whatever, but she didn't.

So, yeah, this was a first "date" or something, but that is all it was. So far.

And yeah, my future ex-wife (nearly two years in court so far) did the layouts/design for GameGO! Whenever that shit is finalized I'll post the gory details. :P

Speaking from experience.... dipping the pen in the company ink can be a messy situation. It never really pans out the way you'd expect it, so I'd just play it cool.
