I'd say anything to justify Microsoft's actions, too, if Microsoft was paying my salary.
Considering the fact that you pay less than $1 per song already available in the game, $2.00 per additional song sounds more than fair to me. not really
What I don't understand is they are selling these packs for $5 a piece for songs that were already created. Yet they are able to charge $4 for 2 Halo 2 maps that obviously take far more resources, development, and testing then the songs they have released in the GH2 song packs.

I would agree with you if they were exactly the same, but they aren't even close to being exactly the same. Between art, layout tweaks, weapon placement, and balance testing, there is a shit load more development needed to build those maps then there is to port the same exact songs to a different system.
But from what I understand these packs include old GH songs, but they now have the play mechanics of GH2. Including the co-op feature. Yeah its a rip off, but they had to test this new play mechanic, Brand.
