True Porn Clerk Stories

This is a woman's journal (basically a series of vignettes) from her days spent as a clerk at a video rental store which happened to have a fairly comprehensive "Adult" section.

I read through it several years ago, and found it very well written, quite entertaining, and at times even enlightening. Some of the stories really stuck in my head, like the customer in the wheelchair (crippled people need pr0n, too! :cry: ), or the guy who knows the release dates of new films and waits outside in the morning for the store to open.

It's pretty long, but if you've got a slow office job it'll help pass the time. Also, most of the tales are split up into bite-size chunks for easy digestion. Give the first few a whirl. You might get hooked.

Very interesting read. I worked for a video/used game store years and years ago that had a tiny porn section in the back. A lot of these stories brought back memories of all the oddball people we would encounter day after day. Good find.

I read this back when she first wrote it, some of the stories are really funny. I forgot all about it until now, thanks for finding it again.

This was a great read.

There used to be this huge video store in Ann Arbor that was the size of, say, a sears department store. It had a porn section the size of a house. My buddie Deak worked there through his first few years of college, he had some amazing stories about that place. It was like the black hole straight to hell in his opinion, the people that went back there were very strange to say the least.

I have a friend that is currently working at a porn shop; I'm going to send this along to him.
