Damn, this looks awesome. I must find a way to play it.

I assume you're going to get actual transparent overlay "boxes" during gameplay.

Duh. The game is 2D. Little lightbloomy particle effects are the only way people can tell it's not running on Sega Master System hardware. Obviously.

I actually really like those ryu versus ken screens. I want this way more than i want sfIV.

I think in previous ports of Capcom fighters they were white rectangular outlines.

The compare and contrast between the old art and new art on the link that Cowdisease posted is awesome. Looks much better now. Less being more or something like that.

Weird thing that someone on MMCafe pointed out: they fixed Ryu's hands but the hadoken still has his alien thumbs in it! I assume this will be fixed before the game's out.

How can you jerks not like the way this looks?
