I STAND ALONE was a good film. Hard to watch and sad though. It was made by the IRREVERSIBLE guy right?

Yeah, Gaspar Noe. He was actually there in person and introduced the movies. Apparently when he turned 18 he went and saw SALO with his family in the theater. It was a coming of age gift.

Honestly, it really doesn't bother me as much as I expected it to. I mean, it didn't even the first time, and I've seen it a handful of times since then. Then again, I've also seen swap.avi (if you don't know, you probably don't need to) in its entirety, and people eating real shit is considerably more disgusting than people eating fake shit.

I will probably regret mentioning this, but here's a disgusting Grave fact: I managed to bang a girl immediately after showing her Flower of Flesh and Blood (second Guinea Pig flick) and Salo. I didn't really see that one coming. It was a weird night.

Agreed. Susperia actually kinda sucked, but that soundtrack...holy shit. Probably one of the most unique and effective horror movie scores ever. Sethsez burned me a copy and I give it a listen every now and then. Fucking powerful.

I own a copy but sadly I haven't watched it yet.

I interviewed Herschell Gordon Lewis in 2004 and he complained about the way the Blood Feast 2 DVD was distributed. Straight from the director: Don't even bother unless you're going to get the uncut version, which sells for a bit more.
