i've never checked out any of these import mags. they look great but the price always shunned me.

I ganked it from some guy at shmups.com. The guy posted a thread looking for one, but I beat him to the first guy to reply. :p

Brueggers bagels (don't know if it's a chain or just a bunch of local spots) makes them that way. Boil in a huge kettle, then bake them. When they are fresh they are awesome.
