Isn't that the one where you draw your own maps?
If you want, yeah. You can switch to auto map too.
Haven't played too much. Spent a while deliberating on what to call my guild and only ran through the dungeon for around 10 minutes.
Switch to automap?! Is there any advantage to drawing your own then?
Other than it's actually fun drawing them yourself, no. The whole system works surprisingly well and isn't at all tedious or cumbersome.
EDIT: After checking out the manual, it seems that auto map only paints the floors. You still have to place the walls, doors, treasure icons, etc.
I need to pick that up, sounds awesome.
lol @ "Riot Act"!
Is that Mr. Satan at the bottom of the cover?
Everytime I see that cover I think I'm looking at misplaced fanart.
LOL yeah.
And MS wonders why they don't seem to get the Japanese audience sometimes.
They wouldn't have gotten them to buy Crackdown no matter what they did.
Well, okay, maybe if they had reworked the agents into animu pedo robots.
I'd buy it.
If the Japanese wouldn't buy Crackdown, they are making a better decision than I did in that area.
Halo 3 Beta > every game released so far this year.
That wouldn't be saying a whole hell of a lot, but I still doubt it. When I get around to giving a shit, I'll have to try it though.
60 GB PS3
Tekken: DR

Component Cables for the PS3, since my old 3rd party PS2/Xbox component cables make it look like ass
PS2 -> PS3 adapter.
Why no hdmi?
TV doesn't have it.
With any luck and a little more scraping together some funds, one of these by the end of this month

HP's new 22 inch LCD, with glossy screen. Saw it demoed at Best Buy and it's freaking incredible.
Yes, I know I can build my own. I don't have the time to research and price the individual components. I know actually building it isn't difficult at all. However, if and when something goes wrong, I don't want to have to figure out which of my components is not working properly and having to deal with its manufacturer.
Check these guys out:
http://www.maingear.com/
their comps are hella expensive but they do such a great job putting everything together and keeping the cabling neat. Not only do they get great reviews but they're helpful guys as they spent hours just talking to us in store helping to price out features after we told them we had no intention to buy that day.
I'm going to have to BTN. It takes so little time to put together your own rig that it should be your only option. Just make a thread here asking people what they think would be great, buy and build, and enjoy.
The recommendations I received for my rig were spot on.
You bought a PS3 for the PS2 inside it.
I already explained in my post why building my own is more trouble for me than it's worth. I KNOW how easy it is to build my own. But it's not just about building it. You gotta find the components at the price you want, and when something goes wrong it's a lot more trouble to find out the problem and troubleshoot with the part's manufacturer. The Dell, with my employee discount, provides comparable performance with actual customer service to back it up at a price that's not vastly different from building my own.
Oh, you're a Dell employee? That explains everything.
Bond DVD Collection 3 & 4 for $35 each
I work for Washington Mutual, which has a partnership with Dell for a lot of their equipment. So they run an employee program for anyone who wants to buy from them.
Instead of a percentage discount, they offer any employee a flat 500 dollars towards anything they want to buy, or at least anything from their Home or Small Business departments.
Trial, just make a thread, and people will link you to newegg.com product pages. That's IT. It's not a difficult search at all, TNL will build you the exact same Dell for a fraction of the price and link you to everything you need. And newegg.com is amazing at returns, so don't do that fallback.
edit: Okay, $500 is nice. Go for it.
It's still a Dell. :(
Flat $500 towards anything. He gets $500 off whatever qualifies in a certain range of computers.
Dell does a shit fucking job of putting things together. The insides are a mess.
I bought a Dell a few years ago when I didn't know any better. Not only is it impossible to upgrade because of the limitations they put on the boards, but even a "high-end" model will eventually reach its limits quickly.
Once I put my own together, I couldn't believe how much better it performed with only minimal upgrades to what the Dell's specs were.
I know how you feel about apparent lack of upgradablility. Our family computer was a Dell Dimension a few years back and installing an internal DVD burner was nigh impossible. The XPS encourages access and upgradablilty as part of its product description, however. Tool-less access, empty pci-e slots and the like.
I'm not done considering my options, but with the substantial discount I'm rather tempted.

Maxtor 300GB IDE Hard Drive for $60 @ Frys.com
Art of Fighting Anthology US (no thread?) and Ouendan 2 today. At $14.99, AoF Anthology is arguably worth it for AoF 3 alone...arguably.
Holy fuck. AoF came out already? As soon as that comes in stock, I'm ordering that along with Taito Legends 2.
A trip to baja mexico to celebrate finishing semester.
Leavin in an hour and a half!
Yeah, it caught me by surprise, too. EB and GS are reportedly selling it for $5 more, so avoid that shit if you have a choice.
Cool, I avoid GS whenever possible.
Hahaha, you're on to me hahaha.
Also: $2,254.03 in twenties from the dumb bitch that slammed into my pared car....

If you liked The Magnficient, you should check out the follow-up. A nice list of guest artists such as Rhymefest, J Live, Method Man, CL Smooth, Big Daddy Kane, and more are on the album.
Sad but true. I like 2K7 but the bugs and predictable cheese goals kinda ruined it for me. It was clearly rushed.
07 is more fun in my opinion, BUT if youre looking to play mostly online, go for 2K7 since EA can't seem to get their hockey to run smoothly online
I play online with my friend for NHL 2K7. I just don't like EA's hockey.

Battlefield 2: Deluxe Edition: I had some big-time issues with this game when it originally came out. It outright refused to install on my computer, and no one at the time (least of all EA's shitty tech support) could tell me why. The reason, I later discovered, was a buried software conflict that was causing the optical drive to shit itself. Anyway, two years and a new computer later, I picked up a used copy of this using some trade credit I won at a Samurai Shodown 2 tournament at the local used bookstore. Looks like fun. If any of you still play this, let me know, I'm down for a game.
A bunch of back issues of Cook's Illustrated: This is one of the nicest magazines I've ever seen. Each issue is printed on high-quality paper, and every page is filled with concise, useful information about cooking: what knives are best, how to cook a pot roast, how to choose a cut of meat, how to cook chicken breasts, etc. etc. etc. If you like to cook, you absolutely MUST check out this magazine.
Yeah, you should be able to find it on a decent magazine rack. Each issue is equivalent to about 5 episodes of "Good Eats" in printed form.
IBTN.
When working full-time, I don't want to spend my free time troubleshooting the HDD, my vid card or anything else. It used to be fun back in the day when I had tons of free time to learn that stuff.
A hassle-free computer is why I'm getting a Mac next (that, and I just don't play games as much anymore).

Well, we have a loser for this month.
I can't believe they used the same shitty cover for Revolutions.
I'd get the first movie on HD-DVD, but the sequels can stay away.
They all sucked.

Been meaning to get the last of the Lodoss War books that I don't have for awhile now. I didn't realize Chronicles of the Heroic Knight was 6 volumes until earlier, as I always only saw up to Volume 5 in whatever store I went to.
I love the Matrix.
I got TMNT and Pirates 3 for 360.
Should be fun achievement whore games. Although I love the Pirates 3 demo, it's damn fun.
Also looking to get Lost seasons 1 and 2, but hell they are 65 bucks each up here in canuck

Took me long enough. Might finally have a PS3 next month so I can start getting Blu-Ray movies as well.
I'll probably pick up the Matrix collection soon, I'll bet the Animatrix looks fucking awesome in HD.All the covers are shitty, which is something I never understood considering how fantastic the art design for everything else involved is. It's like they figured everyone already knew their brand name, so they just handed the cover design to the janitor to save money.Quote:

The menus, encoding, 480p video, audio formats, etc., are all exactly the same. In all honesty, this feels like a bit of a cheat. I suspect many who are plunking down cash to purchase (or re-purchase, as the case may be) 'The Ultimate Matrix Collection' on HD DVD are expecting high-definition content across the board. And while I can't argue with the sheer volume of content here, the packaging on the outer box just doesn't make it very clear the full extent of the standard-def extras on much of the set. If quality is what you are after here (and not just the content) you may be disappointed.
That said, here's an overview of the 'Matrix Experience" bonus DVDs. 'The Animatrix' is the main attraction of Disc 4. Spurred by the success of the original 'Matrix,' the Wachowskis and Warner enlisted seven top Japanimation artists to create a series of nine short films, with the intention of utilizing different animation forms and styles to expand and deepen the 'Matrix' mythology as preparation began on the two sequels.
wait.....they sell a HD set and two of the discs aren't HD?
I don't rightly care if the behind-the-scenes footage is HD as I don't need to see the pores of the best boy grip, but to have one of the main attractions in SD in the middle of an HD collection? That's fucking bullshit.
Thanks for the knowledge.
Yeah, maybe one day there will be an ULTIMATE Ultimate Matrix Collection.
MS Play & Charge Kit, so exciting.
