Motorcycles are stupid.
No. Motorcycles are cool.
NO YOU!
Ok, that didn't work.
Not to belabor the obvious but you're quite lucky not to dead or worse.
worse than dead? please explain (i guess being paralyzed would suck).
i hate crotch rocket riders with a passion. summer comes around (the whole 2.5 months of warm weather we have) and every asshole has to burn half a tank of gas revving it up and screaming down the major roads. then you have the noise ordinance that only applies to car stereos and the really flemmy loud chopper riders rev theirs constantly as well. but tickets are only given out to people with stereos.
and i don't know if this is elsewhere (i've onlt seen it in my area so far) but the "biker wave". wtf. one biker sees another and this pavlovian response comes over where they do this sideways wave with their hand low to the ground. gay.
worse than dead, my ex who is a nurse summed it up well in my journal
as for the rest of your post? yeah, shut the fuck up. until you've ridden a bike you're completely speaking out your ass. you haven't a clue.Quote:
someone who cant feel from the waist down - or worse - the neck down.....or someone who doesn't even remember his own family's name - and has to go potty in a diaper because they can't remember how to go to the bathroom
sorry to hear that Torgo.
Glad you're alive.
LOL, I've had a 76 Sportster since I was 16, and the golden rule of biking that everybody who EVER rode is Not to go assfucking retarded on roads you don't know, especially at night.
You lose.
In addition, crotch rockets are like spandex, nobody over 21 wants to admit they ever owned it.
Sorry to be harsh, thank god you didn't get it worse than you did man.
Oh come on, let's not have this fall into a sport bike hate thread. Biff, I could just as easily turn this into a Harley hate thread.
There will always be those who are dumb enough to ride without any gear, except for the requisite sunglasses. In Florida, helmets are not mandatory, and people from every group are equally likely to appreciate this freedom. I see it both with the cruisers and the sport bikers around here; just more of the latter since this is a college town. I saw it from the former 10x more in the last small town I lived in, while sport bike riders there were much more prone to wear gear.
At least you can't catch teh AIDS from motorcycles.
