Gamestop has been sending out emails today to the people who pre-ordered Tecmo Bowl saying that the game has been pushed back to next week, so it looks like we've got one more week to go.
Still not a lot of information on the game, but I'll grab it for sure whenever it finally does come out.
EGM gave it C's across the board, but I haven't seen the issue yet, so I'm not sure if it's a case of the game just being average, or a case of three reviewers who have no appreciation for a more old-school football game.
Pre-ordered mine on amazon.com and they just changed the ship date to the 17th.
Most of the reviews have been slamming the game for simply being itself. :lol:
The IGN review in particular can't seem to go more than two sentences without bemoaning the fact that this isn't Madden.
I think the only real problem any of these reviews mention is the absence of down-and-distance markers in the play calling screen, which is stupid, but not enough to deter me from buying the game.
I should be able to throw a 100 yard pass if I want to in Tecmo Bowl. Madden can fuck off.
I remember running the entire field backwards and forwards just for shits and giggles.

This is finally out now at select retailers, so make sure to call your local stores to see if they got it in.
I'm getting it at Lamestop tonight after work.
I'll be playing it most of the weekend and hope to have a review up by Monday.
Amazon shipped mine yesterday, hopefully I'll have it early next week.
You guys know where I can get the roster for a team. I already made the colts. It's kinda shitty though that you can't make your own team logos.
