WoW was not released as a complete game IMO. The only one that was rushed to market for Christmas. The PvP system wasn't done, there was no endgame, there were some classes that were outright incomplete. It took about a year of patches and additions before it started to represent what they wanted it to be upon release.
I don't blame them, I think it was Sierra that pressured them into releasing it when they did.

They also explained in the story why WoW didn't have a story in the beginning. I never quoted it, cause well. This is not a WoW thread and/or a Talk about Blizzard products thread. He explained that well. Blizzard wanted WoW to be played alongside Warcraft3. WoW was originally just an open ended MMORPG. They only realized to start making quests and stories, when the WoW got more popular than WC3.

anyone want to play later today?
-
You're always willing to play when I can't. I hate you for that.
-
I'm playing sc1 again at a friends, it rocks.
-
I tried playing it on my new computer with my 24" monitor. That pretty much ensured that I'm never going to try again.
-
is there a reason for that?

640 x 480 doesn't work scaled up to 1920 x 1200.
-
Just turn off scaling. It won't fill the screen, but it'll be 0826098297617952x better than that blurry mess.

Come play Diablo 2 instead, we have 800x600
