Great just what we need more wasted time in the classroom for NYS students. As if the ancient belief that ROTE memorization is an effective learning method and cramming for state exams from 3rd grade up aren't enough. The other big thing that stuck out to me is that the government is now picking up the slack for the lack of parent supervision? If the kid is old enough to buy games he is more than likely able to handle the content . If not, it is the parents responsibility to know what their children are playing, watching, and buying.
Video games =/= free speech
Maybe I've been channeling Jeremy's eyes, but I've yet to see a game without a rating on it.
