Final Fantasy XIII Won't Ship Until April '08 at Earliest

As part of its latest fiscal report, Japanese RPG powerhouse Square Enix has confirmed that the much anticipated Final Fantasy XIII will not be released during the current fiscal year, which ends next March. In the last fiscal year, the company's operating profit surged over 67 percent, driven in part by Final Fantasy XII.

Halo will sell systems, but they'll need to pull out the stops imo.

HD-DVD should pretty much be dead here by then, like it already is in the rest of the world. Blu-Ray may be Sony's killer app afterall, as odd as that sounds.

While it makes me kind of bitter, I got the hd-dvd addon with trade in credit and gift cards, at least I have BR now.

I stepped in HD-DVD as well. I'm trying to trade mine to get it off my shoe.
