Didn't she try to do Playboy only to have CART step in and say no or something like that?

As someone who played almost every sport under the sun since childhood - YES, auto racing IS a sport.
Here's why:
- It requires insane hand/eye coordination since you're traveling at insane speeds.
- During a race, drivers have more G forces exerted on their bodies than astronauts during a launch.
- They lose (sweat out) about 10-15 lbs of weight during a race. Ever see a race car driver after a race - they are out of breath and soaked in sweat (Much like other "traditional" athletes after a game, match, etc.)
- Driving is also just as mental as it is physical, much like the other traditional sports
I'd really like to hear your argument why it's not....
lol I like where this thread is going.
when I lost control of my car on the NJ Turnpike going 50 ... and I was fishtailing and spinning, I was scared crapless. For a split second I thought about Race Car drivers. And they go 4 times as fast as I am. I was scared and sweating bad. They go 200 + and if they are in a spin. Imagine what they are thinking. NASCAR is a sport imo.
