Official MGS2:Substance Thread

Surprise,surprise!! Yet ANOTHER MGS2 thread(hi Freeter!)! But for all you unfortunate(and insane)people that somehow didn't like MGS2(BLASPHEMER!!), Konami has decided to go back and give the fans what they wanted(read:no Raiden), along with tons of other new features and special modes(128-bit VR Missions,baby!!). This is the thread to discuss all of it and more. It'll be released on Xbox first, then to the PS2. Of course, since my uncle has an Xbox(and lives 2 blocks down from me ^_^), it looks like I'll be able to enjoy the game first. But when I do, I might "submerge" for a while to discover every new facet that Kojima will throw at me.

Isnt it bit too early to start the thread for this game? Its not coming for at least next 6 months friend.

I've asked this a few times, but is this game MGS2 + extra stuff? I never played MGS2, so will I miss out on anything from not playing the PS2 version?

Yes then no. As far as I know, anyway...

Well, Unless it will have alot of new things in it, like extra new Snake adventures, and not just rehash of PS2 version with extra VR missions, I will definately pass.

I liked the action parts, but storyline near the end, killed all the desire to play it again, even with Snake.

haha, even despair is buckling.

It's a food preservative. It's bad for j00. You'll likely see "No MSG" labels on chinese take out.
