Amazon has the Hori 360 stick for $49 right now with free shipping.
Are there any Hori sticks without the sticker on them?
Also, the weight ... is it heavy and wide? I hate narrow and lightweight sticks. That's why I never use them. I know what I just asked is a personal preference and the lap size is dependent on the individual.
To Thief. If you are on tonight I will use my 48 hour card and get back on Live.
We should get a huge TNL game going, maybe do a ranked match or something.
Who's in? How about tonight 9 or 8pm est.
They are small and light, but I prefer it that way. It's easier for my small, stubby fingers to reach each button without feeling like I'm over stretching. Plus, they're not so small or compact as to cramp up the hand.
Maybe you guys can help me - I've been playing with the stick on a coffee table that's about level with my knees while I'm sitting on the couch. It's not very comfy but when I sit on the floor, the table feels too high, and I end up screwing up simple things like hitting downback or downforward without hitting something else on the way. Should I just try playing with it on my lap? Get a higher table? How do you guys with Hori sticks play?
I was thinking of getting one of those TV trays. The ones designed for the bed. So when I sit on the floor its on a more stable surface. Also, on a more reasonable height.
Like this ... (not exactly what I had in mind. I did see something better aka all wood and non-foldable.

Apparently, this game got a rebalance patch in Japan... PS3 only. For now?

I played a guy that was incredible with Voldo last night. I had never seen anything like it. He was dancing around, moving like a snake and just being wierd. The matches were very interesting and the guy himself was hilarious. Voldo is one creepy character.
Voldo is awesome, and has deceptively good reach. I just wish they kept exagerating the kinkyness in his outfits (lol @ when he had bullhorns coming from his pelvis).
That update sounds nice - I want to be able to guard impact throws again.
