Looks good. Showed too much Lizard though. Seems like the trailer showed most of the end of the movie.

So they're going to pretend the previous movies never existed? I like how the action looks, but I'm really getting tired of the constant reboots.

Get used to it. Isn't Batman going to get rebooted after this next POS comes out?

My one weakness... tiny knives! :)

At the very least, this movie appears to get that when he puts on the mask, he drops all the nerdy self-consciousness of Peter Parker and becomes the class clown of crimefighters, which Raimi's never did. For all his clear, sincere love of the source material, it blows my mind that he missed that crucial element.

He totally did- Rami's Spider-Man was almost silent. I think among the three movies he made at total of TWO wisecracks ("That's a nice outfit...did your husband buy it for you?" and "Here's your change!"). Spidey's whole gimmick in the comics is that he never shuts the fuck up.
