Avengers is also a lot more kid friendly than these latest Batmans. We went to a 4pm showing of Avengers and it was filled with kids. I wouldn't expect the same from DKR.
You also got to keep in mind that DKR is a summer release, which will help it a lot.
I say it will get close to topping Avengers but won't.
Avengers was the first movie I saw in a long time in the theater... I think Captain America was the last one. The next one will probably be Batman. Shit, noticing a pattern?

All you guys saying theres no dead celeb to make people watch Bats 3, the movie isn't out yet. Plenty of time for Nolan to off someone. Also, cool flick, this Avengers. I am sad they didn't find a way to use Avengers Assemble some how.

Saw this tonight with my girlfriend and a few friends. Outstanding! No complaints. The Loki vs. The Hulk scene was worth the price of admission alone. Actually pretty much anything with Hulk or Ironman in it was worth the price of admission.
saw for 3rd time tonight. in 3d.wasnt worth it. added absolutely nothing to the movie.
3rd time in 3 days, and its still good. i still laugh at the funny shit. still get chills when Hulk starts fucking shit up.
Im really excited to see what the do for the sequels. I cant think of anything they can do for them really. Iron Man Extremis and Captain America:Winter solder are the only stories i would expect them to do. For Thor and hulk i have no idea....Unless Surtur makes an appearance...Or Beta Ray Bill. And as much as i would love that, as i think BRB is more badass than Thor in every way. i doubt they can make a horse face alien work.
