Let's not forget Monster Squad... and more recently the underrated (probably from being underseen) Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Wolfman. He has nards.
I dont feel its accurate to say there was no character development, either. Captain America, Ironman, Bruce Banner and the SHEILD folk all had key scenes that displayed their character openly. I actually dont think there was a single character sans MAYBE Fury who wasnt explained - and hes the leader of spies so even that makes sense to his character.
I liked this movie because it was fun, first, but appreciate the way they developed everything cohesively as well.
I felt that you could come into the movie with no prior knowledge of the heroes and have a general idea of what's going on and who they are. Their personalities were very clearly represented. They definitely took advantage of not having to be mired down by telling everyone's origins, since they had done so in the previous films, and I found that to be an advantage rather then a detriment. Whoever wrote that review was totally an ahole.
All superhero flick sequels are better than the originals since the don't spend an hour and a half just on an origin we all know and/or don't care about. Iron Man 2 is the only exception I can think of.
Looking back on this thread. How was the Mo Cap in this movie for the Hulk?
I recall a few of you whining it would suck.
hint: Yellerdog & ShinJohn
That was a well-animated Hulk, it's true. Whatareyoutalkingabout.
They did a good job? What do you want.
