So, Elizabeth Olsen is confirmed as playing Scarlet Witch. In other news Aaron Taylor Johnson confirmed as Quicksilver.

I thought they were both confirmed ages ago?

I saw Olsen on something on cable recently, I forget what. She was pretty good.

BTW, isn't there some weird deal in place between Marvel and Fox regarding those characters and their usage? Can they even refer to them as "mutants"?

Yeah, Disney/Marvel can't use the term mutants, can refer to Magneto or anything relating to that. Why Disney couldn't just throw Fox a few bucks to be able to use that term is beyond me. My wet drew of seeing the Xmen and Spider-man in the final Avengers for a showdown with Thanos looks less and less likely.

Disney should just roll out the Brinks truck for Fox/Sony when the time comes for Avengers 3. No matter how much it costs, it'll be more than worth the investment.

I would pay a SMTIV-level extra nerd patronage for a ticket to that movie.

Kevin Feige never discounted it.
