I suppose no one got the painting of the Red Mask of Death (based on the Poe piece). Its a story about the rich throwing a party during the plagues thinking they were all safe at their private estate. At midnight (when else) all the guests removed their masks and found death (personified) was already among them.

Its a commentary on the issues that affect humanity affect us all, rich or not.

Great story, but just more proof to my point. Rather than surpass an obstacle like our ancestors did (that's why we are here) we just relent and bitch about it to each other. Time to go old school, wanna fix something? Start the movement yourself.

Actually I've got my greater goal, if I were an engineer or chemical or otherwise I'd work on this, its the next great challenge to humanity. But I'm more into GLBT rights and am working on that locally when I can between classes to become a lawyer so I can fight that fight more effectively while making some good cash.

I suppose I could invest my income in green tech and that would help in a small way, but I don't have that money yet, so no sense bragging how I'll invest my money 3 years from now as I'm currently investing all my money in myself now.

Oh get an education, learn your cultural heritage and appreciate the works that have contributed to the social awareness and society around you.

If you think you can afford a hummer on an 80k salary then there are clearly things that law school isn't teaching you :)
