Oh it's a can of worms. You do what you're told like everybody else. Stop fronting. I'm not sure why you've hijacked a gas thread in to your own personal cock measuring contest but, yeah, it's fucking retarded.

At the risk of turning this into a Gozen like fuck you fest, I'm retiring from this thread.
it's a new Biff.

If you get one of those online MBAs, then yes, it is worthless beyond the knowledge you gain. If you really knew the difference in future cash flow potential and opportunities a good MBA (i.e. Kellogg, U of Chicago) can bring to you, however, then you would sing a different tune. Unless money is irrelevant to you, which it very well may be.
If you're saying that because Biff was able to get one, thus discrediting its value, then IAWTP.
You're not the first to propose this but tell me, where are you going to build these things? No one is readily volunteering to having a refinery in their town. And these things aren't cheap either. It makes more financial sense to upgrade your existing refineries (some of which really need it) to output more efficiently. The reduced output and higher prices we've recently been suffering from seems like legalized collusion to me.
...What the fuck?
I intentionally miss the toilet in public restrooms to create more janitorial positions so that people without MBA's have a chance at finding employment.Quote:
I have over 200 on my payroll and we are hiring 4 new this month what the fuck have YOU done to improve our situation? At least I help create jobs to put food on other people's tables.
I took the same stance on gas prices that you did -- for different reasons, but the same stance. You don't even know what's going on in this thread anymore.
But I didn't then go out on a tyrade as though I were single handedly pulling America through a depression by doing my fucking designated job.
I'm going to assume this is the Biff Pocoroba employment time-line.Quote:

And holy shit I think Andrew just owned Biff.
He's bitter for some reason, probably hating his life :p
Ha.
Hmmm when did I mention overpaid, jobs I won't do, or unfair life? You're projecting a lot of hostility towards me on points I've never brought up.
Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate, and Hate leads to suffering. - Yoda.
Fear me much? Certainly much anger and hate coming at me Biffypoo. And yes Janis Day rocks the corporate world. There's a reason they're rolling in the monies.
This thread is about as retarded as Yoshi and me arguing about the DS and PSP, probably more so.
I voted 36.
Oh wait wrong thread....
i heard the motherfucker had
like
thirty goddamn dicks
Biff is the epitome of the fat corporate drone on a power trip.
Biff is the epitome of being a huge douche. I don't give a fuck how successful I am, if I ever had the attitude he did in this thread I would kill myself.
Being successful and applying yourself != pushing your elitist I did it right learn from me it's the only way bullshit he is trying to talk in here.
Gas is over $4 a gallon here.
Stop whining and buy more fuel efficient cars.
i work for big oil, and they are always pumping propaganda that its not the oil companies faults for the prices and that they arent realizing the profit from the pump/retail, but on the backend they are (as in plastics and pipelines), they even have a powerpoint presentation to take home to your family and friends if they ask about it, lol
Tru dat
lol @ that sticker. awesome
They never caught the guy who raped me at the gas pump.
Biff is one of those tough guy corporate types that like to act like they're all aggressive; then someone punches them in their overpaid face for acting like such a dick and they cry about lawsuits.
You're not a tough guy. You're a fucking suit. My people would eat you a-fucking-live.

Oh, there is this to:
First Quarter Highlights

in sales.
lol, not bad for a faux telecom company, nice work.
I'm fully aware of these reasons and aware of the fact that since most people who are investing in oil companies don't want to see their stock portfolios get thinner; however, at some point I think someone should assign a region/territory, give incentives/benefits for those who "host" a refinery and build one (or many) for the greater good of society. It's amazing to see and feel (in the wallet) how oil consumption will affect (and is affecting) our economy.
In the end, we're all huge consumers of oil. The one thing I think people are now starting to understand is that we can control how much of it we use, right down to the way we drive our cars, to help curb the high prices.
I didn't expect this thread to get so much feeback - hooray for the Internet!
But if you can make something of yourself without school that's fine.
The problem is you're insisting you have to go to school, if you want to be a corporate sellout (no offense) yeah you have to, but there are other ways.
fair enough, perhaps I came off a bit too harsh.
Man I would totally rather have like 40k a year than turn into Biff when i get old.
E85 is not that much cheaper than gasoline. Does it greatly reduce CO2 output? HELL NO. I think it's a joke. All this corn that could be used for food production is being wasted.
I agree that there likely is a collusion among oil companies. They want the prices to be high. It's as close to racketeering as you can get without violating RICO.
Whoever came up with the idea of using ethanol as fuel must have had too much of it in their bloodstream at the moment. Maybe we need a car that runs on bullshit, because there's plenty of that going around.
You can make fuel from algae more efficiently than you can from corn, and algae consumes far more CO2. This corn bullshit is just propaganda from companies that invested in it.
Well, with the new Energy Bill waiting to pass the House of Representatives, there are more provisions that would set penalties for gasoline price-gouging and would give the government new powers to investigate oil companies' pricing.
This is the first step in heading the right direction.
Now if we could cut our need for foreign oil and get it off shore instead.
Last part is a joke.
Anyway...
It looks like gas prices are starting to go down - for now.
Who wants to start betting on when they'll start going back up?
Buy now before July 4th, they'll be back up by then.
It's so obscene how much the oil companies make per barrel of oil produced. It costs them like 10 cents to pull it out of the ground and then they sell it for $70-85 a barrel (depending on the grade). And if you project last year's prices against this year's prices + the stockpiled oil they have = bullshit about their oil refineries and huge amounts of raping going on than ever before. I wish I could get a Hybrid. I lose for not saying no to the Nissan car salesman and going over to the Honda dealership to get one.
I can't afford to go to school because I spend too much on gasoline :(
Oh no, Biff will never accept me into his boys club now and I will remain as ass-virgin for life. It's a good thing that I life in Massachusetts, a state which coddles the weak, so I might get to go to community college for free.
I already tried to say they're wrong earlier. No one believes me. :(
Gas prices would make more sense if they followed the normal laws of supply and demand, but since they seem to follow whatever "analysts" think is going to happen with the supply, it's all over the place
Case in point, in 2004 gas peaked in my area in may at $2.09, while oil was in the mid $30's per barrel. Fast forward to october, when oil was setting new records of over $50 a barrel, gas was $1.79. Heck even right now, oil is close to $10 more a barrel than it was before memorial day, yet gas has dropped 40 cents a gallon since after memorial day. Complete garbage.
I'm just tired of being raped. I don't care about gasoline prices.
Reading all this stuff makes me glad we have RIPTA here in RI. I only drive on the weekends, and use my $20 bus pass to get where I need to during the week.
