The tires had a particular scent to them. It hit me as soon as I started watching that commercial.
I had Glo-Bones. Oh man I totally forgot about those Stomper things, I had a couple. They were really cool until the axles were full of carpet threads. And yeah the tires were made up of this weird spongy foam material.
anyone else remember when a tyco track set was like the coolest thing you could get for Christmas next to one of the big transformers or GI Joe bases?
Jesus, I had this one. I thought it was the greatest thing ever.

I had some of the normal looking ones, the 18 wheelers, tanks, that green spacy one in the last pic, and the devil mountain set. I also vaguely remember some water ones from the last few months of the toy line.
You know what was also fun? Turning one of these things on and shoving it in a girl's hair.
