So we're using this thread for TFs now? Okay. I've decided to mostly pass on the ROTF line, both for financial reasons and because it mostly sucks. It's half repaints, and what is new is either horribly designed (Oh god the motorcycle sisters - why the hell didn't they just use the awesome deleted Arcee design from the first movie? In fairness though that is most likely Bay's fault, not Hasbro's.) or something that should be great but is ruined by shoddy paint aps (i.e. Wheelie).
There does appear to be one bright spot though:I think this "human alliance" sub-line is all I'm gonna bother with. They're also making one of the infamous negrobots plus Arcee (I guess they're throwing both in one box because they're smaller than 'Bee and the rest) with Megan Fox and Sideswipe (the silver Autobot) with the black army dude.
I'm waiting to pass judgment on the bike sisters. I hear that they are secretly a combiner.
seems like some walmarts around here are marking down the bigger aniamted figs and some of the universe figs. I saw the recolored jetfire for 9 and the second from largest megatron for 15 (originally was 40)
a store in town has some marvel universe figs for 4 each, I might pick them up and put them on ebay.
I'm too lazy to look. Are the Marvel Legends Build a Figure shit worth anything yet? I have all the figures for Galactus, Onslaught, Giant Man, Sentinel, Mojo, and Apocalypse sitting in boxes unopened. I think I'd prefer to have the square footage back, but not at a loss.
I saw blob, apocalypse and some other guy go in a set together for 190 on ebay I think
Anyone know of a good site or forum that does a good job comparing the new TF seasons to the old rhino ones?
I have a nice rhino season 2 set here that I could ebay away if there is nothing special about it
I heard that rhino butchered the openings, endings and audio of their seasons, while shout has them restored direct from broadcast.
what about extras?
and was the transfer cleaned up any?
