Yeah, had I known it was going to be such a convoluted process I probably would have just waited and bought the game used off someone. I thought I was going to just walk into CC and get the game for $10, but when that wasn't an option I decided to look for a deal on the game via unconventional means after driving all the way down there. Now that I've put a couple hours into it I'm really enjoying the enhanced control but I'm glad I didn't pay $30 for it (since it's still essentially the same game I paid $50 for in 2005).
