Ok, I know I shouldn't be looking for this game while I'm unemployed, but I really do need this now.
Is there any chance all missing level details from the Wii/GCN version can be added?

It also must be stated that I seriously doubt anyone is going to sue this community, if anything they'll take out Garry's Mod for HL2 first due to how many character ports are on that title(max payne, re4, doa, bloodrayne, silent hill, sin episodes, dark messiah, mario sunshine, smash bros, star fox, quake, doom, zelda twilight princess, ninja gaiden, etc are just games i can remember off the top of my head that have fully working model ports for GMod)
How do we not have a Resident Evil 4 thread? If we do, I couldn't find it. The reason I was looking is Resident Evil 4: Ultimate HD Edition for PC!
edit: It's already on Steam.Quote:

Still need to go through Revelaitons though.
Didn't the original PC version not even support mouse controls? They need to have stepped it up a significant amount for me to be interested.
This is a port of the HD game that came out on console in 2012, not a re-release of the old PC title.
That HD game was actually based on the old PC version, which in turn was based on the PS2 one. So you're still getting scaled back effects (particularly noticeable with the foliage) and reduced polygon counts.
I thought the PS3/360 versions had assets that largely lined up with the Gamecube game save some shader effects (probably because they were fixed shaders on GC).
Regardless, my bet is that this is the 360/PS3 version's assets but the game itself is rebuilt on MT Engine. You don't just take a 2005 Japanese-developed Gamecube/PS2 game and "uncap it" to 60fps. You have to do honest-to-god reworking. And they brought Code Veronica to MT Framework, after all.
Agreed. Thanks for the search assist.
