Heh, Pat Lee's transformers are reviled amongst transformers comic book fans, and while Jae Lee's are better; the true master of transformers artists is Don Figueroa.

The funny shit is that he actually designed the Cybertron forms from ground up, and you can purchase them as six inch diecast toys. (O Prime, Starscream, and Grimlock) at least.

Well, it's more of a perspective thing. When the big blocky legs take up half of the page, it gets distracting, there's one pinup of Bumblebee(which i can't find atm) that got people riled. The autobot cover posted above is one of his better pieces. That's the scorn for his artwork btw, most people's scorn for him is reserved for his business practices.

Yeah Sapphirephoenix if you go to Sound Off and check Transformers Cybertron you can see everyone's reviews for the new toys. Its not as bad as you think.

He killed Dreamwave. Read above.

He also didn't draw humans very well.

His Wolverine/Punisher miniseries was especially awful.

Between this and the positive reaction from Bot-Con, I'm willing to give this thing a chance.

First let me say that cartoon network has been pretty bad in the last few years. All i ever watch is family guy and futurama and some of the sunday shows (robot chicken, Morel orel and venture bros). Every other show just plainly sucks balls. Now, to make it even worse, they destroy one of my all time favorite shows.....this is an atrocity and it needs to end. Seriously, they show shows like voltron and detective conan at like 5am (who the fuck gets up at 5am to watch a show), they put on shitty programming ...(like how many times can u re-watch ed, edd and eddie and foster home for imaginary kids in the day). who the fuck is running the network. Cartoon network use to be an awesome channel, but now, it is only a fragment of what it once was. sigh.....

Never mind that the huge TF fans that have now seen actual footage are saying it looks quite good.

Also, once more, the last 4 TF series have sucked. Even if this turns out badly, CN didn't ruin anything that wasn't already ruined.

I think the designs are going to lend themselves to better quality animation, at any speed. It's a lot more fun to draw when you don't have to break out the ruler for every single frame.

I hate how the title of the show is Transformers ANIMATED. To date, they have only not been animated once, right? Except they still really were animated, just their human counterparts were not. A better subtitle would be Transformers: Sorta, but not Really. I'd love to be wrong about this show, but....ewwww.
