I'm saying they rewrite software to make it incompatible with media you did not dl from the itunes store. True story, it already happened to me with my videos and its only a matter of time before they do it to music (as per my exaggeration). That's why it was an example

Before I go any further, I have had too many bad experiences with Apple to give them any more money. Please don't waste any more time trying to prove a moot point. What's in the past can not be undone. I'm only speaking for myself. I'm not telling you not to buy an Apple. I'm just relaying some personal experience which led me to my current standpoint. That is all.

Yea its a conspiracy to stop me from listening to my .mp3's in itunes :wtf: Seeing how I've been using it for years and never had a problem with any .mp3. The only trouble I've ever had is sometimes a video podcast will only play the sound and the screen will be white, which I think is some sorta quicktime problem on my comp.

Sarcasm = useless. In reality I converted some shows and movies I already had on my computer so I could play them on my ipod. Everything worked fine until I updated my ipod and itunes software. None of my videos worked. I tested everything, reconverted everything, then downloaded a free podcast from itunes store. It worked perfectly. Once I rolled back all the updates my videos worked again. So yeah, that's shady.

I'm so close to just posting pics of animals humping in here I swear to god.

I spent about 2K on a g4 powerbook titanium when it was new. About 6 months later the screen started flickering, and now the entire machine won't even turn on. What's apple's take on this? Not our fault. You need to get a new logic board - that'll be 1K. I really love how it's been proven to be a manufacturing flaw now, but they still won't acknowledge it. Thanks for essentially stealing $2000 from me Apple. They can get fucked. I'll never buy one of their machines again.

I heard that when Apple made this phone that they wouldn't allow the service providers to lock out any features, which was why only AT&T went along with them.

Aside from all the flaws it looks to have, I'll give them respect for that.

Its probably the same problem as having old codec's and not being able to view movies. Apple updates their quicktime to newer verisons, just like MS updates their video compression and sound. Now that you mention it, I did have some of my old video podcasts quit working after an update, then some that didn't work before started working.

Nope. I searched tons of message boards on this and everyone that had this problem came up with the same solution. I even tried several new video conversion programs at the time thinking it was a codec or bitrate issue but it was most definitely not.

I love how torgo completely ignores Graves post and continues to rave on about how great apple are with his inane "macs are good because i don't like windows" arguement.

Most of his argument has actually been that OS X is just as bad as Windows, which makes Apple great. I'm not sure the head is removable from the ass at this point.
