i hate that kind of shit, and i hate that the courts encourage it by forcing the guy to pay child support. if a woman can claim rape for being drunk, the guy should be able to, as well. this double-standard stuff is bullshit.

even worse are the girlfriends guys' trust who purposefully sabotage their birth control. it's sick, and courts should penalize women for that kind of crap, but they don't. the laws protect women like they're frail, helpless twats incapable of deceit. if a woman does something stupid (like getting drunk and consenting to sex she later regrets), it's not her fault. women don't have to accept responsibility for what they do when drunk, but men are supposed to be reponsible when drunk?

men shouldn't take advantage of intoxicated women, but women shouldn't put themselves in such situations. if they're not smart enough to take precautions before getting drunk, and they then consent to sex while drunk, maybe they should just take it as a life lesson and not repeat their retarded mistake.

Seriously you're debating whether or not taking advantage of an intoxicated girl is okay? I mean don't she cannot consent, and if she's sober she can and would have no defense nor any excuse of why she went with you. Yes abuses of the system happen, but if they end up court MOST of the time the girl is lucky enough to have a full (real) name to back it up. Your friend didn't fall into the most of the time and the system worked then. Granted it sucked but going to court ALWAYS sucks.

My counter point, I sat next these two bimbos in HS who constantly talked about one was gonna get pregnant (and surprise him with it later) to force her b/f to marry her so she wouldn't have to work, and often told the spanish teacher of that class exactly that as to why she never did jack. Needless to say she's a single mother who pawned off her kid on the parents now.

As much as a feminist as I am, i recognize there's fucked up women. We're not all pure hearted, innocent and unaware of the dangers of the world. |-)
