I don't think guys should cry about paying child support ever. It's not about the woman taking money from you, it's about the kid, and it's not the kid's fault his mom's a conniving bitch.

Double standards suck though. If a man does step up and wants to be a father, half the time he has to deal with all kinds of crazy bullshit to see his kid. And if he wants custody, the mother better have an arrest record a mile long.

If I am paying for a kid, I want to have custody. I would also never ask the mother to pay child support to have the kid.

Well generally if the kid lives in your house you're supporting him, and thus child support would be redundant.

For the record, my father fought for years to get custody of me, and I'm not sure he legally did until I had been living with him for like 5 years. My mother also never paid any child support, even though she was ordered to. It goes both ways.

My main problem is that feminists want women to be able to dress and act and drink and even fuck like slags but then be treated as victims when they wake up. Can't have it both ways. I had no problem with the "women as victims" paradigm when women were expected to stay home and be generally be subservient to men. If women want equal rights, they have to accept equal responsibility for their circumstances and actions and consquences.

Obviously no one should be fucking a totally incapacitated female. But that's not where this thread started. People do tons of things when they're impaired that they have to face responsibility for. Except fucking, but only if you have a vagina. What bullshit.

You should be able to hit a girl without the idea that your punishment will be about 10x more serious, only on principle I'm not saying that people should get into fist fights with women (I'm not saying they shouldn't either).

I'd hit a woman under the same circumstances I'd hit a man, granted my circumstances are pretty much seriously fuck with anyone I care about. So it's a rule that's generally not pushed.

I, for one, welcome this law and look forward to it coming to The States. Women cannot be trusted. And women who are intoxicated, double. If the common men of our country are too ignorant to recognize this and carry on like uncivilized apes, they must be punished.

I've always said that the 21st and 19th amendments were the gravest mistakes this nation has ever made; and the passing of this law would be the first step in rectifying those blemishes.

Those men generally don't have custody. Child support is paid to the parent with custody. One doesn't generally pay child support to one's self.

Well the laws are technically there to protect the child from living in forced poverty. The problem is how one sided things seem to be getting. Although this is in Britain, so who knows what the fuck's even going on over there most of the time. It doesn't seem like congress is going to pass this under the same reasoning people here are taking issue with it.

With the exception of the military stuff, which I'm gonna plead ignorance to (serious), sounds like a case of a bad judge or bad lawyer. As for the Cali cases, they probablly had notification, if not they can make a collateral attack (invalidating the entire case) for failure to serve, 6 month rule or not.

It's difficult to invalidate the entire case if the defendant/father was properly served, unless you've got clear-cut evidence of fraud. In a lot of these cases, fraud isn't all that easy to prove ("I swear, judge, this was his last known address!"). The problem is that few states have laws that protect victims of paternity fraud. As these articles show, most states make it cripplingly difficult if not outright impossible for victims to recover their losses.

We need tougher state criminal statutes punishing paternity fraud, and more prosecutors willing to pursue them.
