I wish traffic didn't exist today but alas.
I hit no traffic what so ever on the way to work. What's usually an hour of stop and go was a quick 15 minutes of 75MPH.
I was supposed to bring Grandma down to Tulsa to see the fireworks display down there with my folks, but thanks to the crazy rains in the middle of the country for the last two weeks or so, the Neosho river has rendered this town an island (well, the parts it hasn't outright submerged). Plus the park's underwater, so there won't even be a fireworks display HERE. I'm just glad Grandma's house is on high ground.
This would be the worst Independence Day of my life if I hadn't been bedridden with sciatica last year.

A marching band had an impromptu parade through my apartment complex yesterday. Kinda weird, but cool.

My buddy at the Cleveland Police Department says there will be DUI checkpoints all over Cleveland, Mayfield, Willoughby, Solon, etc starting at 2 today, mind your P's and Q's man.
