I don't know a single person who has ever said anything positive about Ohio. I've been there once, and I have the same feeling as everyone else.

Ohio State alone gives me more then enough reason to hate Ohio.

So It takes me 50 minutes to get to work. Apparently, about 20 miles down from where there was a heavy clog of traffic, a truck was on fire. So what would be 50 minutes would have been probably about 4 hours sitting in traffic had there not been a way around. It still took me just an hour to get the 5 miles to the other exit I could get off. If I didn't have important shit going on today at work I woulda just gone home. But yeah, that really fucking bugged me.

It's common around here. A lot of state universities require on-campus housing through sophomore year now. Two of the other three schools I was looking at in Ohio had the same policy. Only way out of it is if you commute from within a 25 minute drive from a parent's house, or are living with a spouse. They're pretty strict about not allowing for exceptions.

They have the same policies at a lot of Universities in New York as well. Really ignorant imo. As for Ohio..Cleveland rocks.

I got you beat on the daily commute - it's called Beltway Traffic (Washington, D.C. area). 30 mile trip = 1.25-1.5 hours (on most days) other days it's an hour-long commute.

People need to learn how to drive imo, especially when taking corners.

Also, president is coming by today so apparently there will be presidential traffic.
